In the last week, there has been interesting News in Iran Oil gas sector. It is providing progress in the field. The first News is about Iran’s South Pars gas field which their location is in the Persian Gulf. The Drilling project of 4 platforms of the field has ended. CRA pipes are scheduled to be installed in the mentioned platforms.

South Pars is divided into 24 standard phases of development in the first stage. Most of the phases are fully operational at the moment. The huge offshore field, shared with Qatar, covers an area of 9,700 square kilometers; 3,700 square kilometers of which, called South Pars, are in Iran’s territorial waters in the Persian Gulf. As a result,The remaining 6,000 square kilometers, called North Dome, are situated in Qatar’s territorial waters.
According to Tehran times, the first consignment of butane produced in phases 17 and 18 of Iran’s South Pars gas field is also about to be ready by the end of current Iranian calendar month, Tir. The phases are projected to produce 56.6 million cubic meters of natural gas, 75 tons of gas condensate, and 400 tons of sulfur per day; as well as one million tons of ethane and 1.05 million tons of LPG (propane and butane) per annum.
